Carlos Paulos
Born in Angola in 1973, he has lived in the Azores since 2001. Owner and managing partner. Offshore skipper and captain of Water and Wind. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine. Recreational and technical diving instructor for the agencies FPAS/CMAS, SDI, TDI, SSI, PADI, EFR, and IAC. Instructor trainer for DAN. National monitor. Maintenance technician for various equipment brands. Sports diving judge and underwater hockey referee are two of the most curious certifications he holds, among dozens of others.
Joana Paulos
Graduated in Tourism Management and Planning. Skipper of our boats (Local Skipper) and receptionist. Responsible for managing bookings and reservation platforms for our companies and Guest House. Advanced Open Water diver.
João Gaspar
Born in Lisbon in 1968, Technical Director of diving training at the Infante D. Henrique Nautical College. Graduated in Occupational Safety Engineering. Recreational and technical diving instructor trainer since 2008, with the SDI/TDI agency, National Diving Monitor, SSI, PADI and CMAS instructor. Certified equipment technician for SCUBAPRO, APEKS, AQUALUNG, and POSEIDON brands. Extensive knowledge of sailing, with several participations in regattas and sailing boat transport.
João Pedro Freire
Born in Lisbon in 1969. Graduated in Physical Education. Diving instructor since 1993. National monitor and instructor for the agencies BSAC, TDI/SDI, SSI-XR, PADI, CMAS at both recreational and technical levels. Dan Trainer Instructor, as well as hyperbaric chamber operator and attendant. Certified maintenance technician for the brands Aqualung/Apeks, Scubapro, Poseidon, Mares. Experience as technical director in diving centers in Portugal, Cape Verde, Mozambique, and São Tomé. Also holds several courses in underwater archaeology.
Viktoriia Kostenko
Viktoriia, born in Ukraine, worked in Austria and Mainland Portugal before moving to Azores in 2024. Graduated in Architecture and Construction at Kyiv National University. Progressing in bar and cooking skills. Speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian, some German and Portuguese. General cleaning, Boat Skipper, Snorkeling Guide and helping hand of the Crew.
Marta Dias
Local Skipper and SSI Instructor. Quality supervisor of the dive center and our liveaboard. Stock controller, general organization and coordination of cleanings, barbecues, events, guest house, etc. Chef on our catamaran and Portuguese teacher in her spare time.
